SKYDIVING VIDEOS
| I had always wanted to skydive but never
really had the funds with which to do so. Skydiving is one expensive hobby,
that is for sure. I began my Accelerated Free Fall course at Perris Valley
Skydiving School in Perris, California. I quickly busted out the required
number of jumps to become licensed and began free flying.
My main goal in skydiving was to eventually become a
wingsuit pilot. However, until then I had to gain enough experience and
have a minimum of 200 jumps to begin wingsuit (and separately, B..A.S.E.)
training. So what better way than to freefly my way there!
I love freeflying. I never really got into relative
work, I thought it was kind of boring. Although I respect the dedication
and skill it takes to create intricate formations. I have a friend on
Four-way team who brought home the gold and they turn points while
still on the hill after exit. Truly amazing. I guess I just never had
the right group to turn me on to it though. The freeflyers seemed to be more
friendly and less cliquish so naturally I gravitated towards them. Not to
mention there is something very alluring about flying head down at 160+ MPH.

At first, I used to make about 6 jumps a day,
my record was 10 in one day, and though that may not be a lot for a team or
someone who works in the sport, most of these were solo in the very beginning.
Nowadays with the rising costs of fuel, I must say quantity seems to have been
replaced by quality. I am not mindlessly jumping out of planes these days.
Usually I am working towards a goal or using the freefall time to become better
for other disciplines. I still love it! But at $25 bucks a jump, B.A.SE. is
cheaper, lol.
